1. Wypracowania:

Polecenie: Opisz swój najgorszy, najbardziej pechowy dzień w życiu (220 wyrazów):

MY WORST DAY
That was definitely the worst day of my life. It happened in November last year. The day was terrible and awful from it's sunrise up to the sunset. To begin with I got up at 10am because my mobile's battery was flat and my alarm clock didn't ring. I had breakfast very quickly and ran for the bus to school. To make matters worse I forgot to take my essay for polish lesson.

The bus was laste so I was late for school. Immediatelly when I got to school i found out that i had failed my last biology exam. It was unbelievable! I had been learning so long for this exam. On the next lesson - history we had a short test which i wasn't prepared for. I was so nervous that i didn't answer to any of the questions. After the classes I felt really depressed. What's more when i arrived at the bus stop i realised that i had lost my wallet. I didn't have money for the ticket so i had to some back home on foot.

In the end I got home completely exhausted, hungry and angry. I ate supper and went to bed to finally finish that bad bay. It's unthinkable that it all happened because of my flat battery :)

2. Rozprawki

Polecenie: Napisz  rozprawkę w której podasz argumenty za i przeciw dotyczące życia  na wsi i w mieście (212 wyrazów):

(wstęp)Some people tend to think that living in the city is much more exciting than living in the country but it does not have to be true

(- dla wsi) One of the points for the statement is that people living in the country do not have ability to use modern forms of entertainment like cinemas, leisure centres and discos.
(+ dla wsi) On the other hand there are a few advantages of living in the country. If you do not have so many places to go in the area you can keep closer to your neighbours and get on with them much better.
(- dla miasta) Although, in the city centre there are lots of interesting places which people visit, it may be not convenient for elderly people to live in such a noise and crowded places.
(+ dla miasta) On the other hand in the cities public transport is very good and you can move around really quickly. What's more everything you need is close and usually you don't need a car.

(podsumowanie) In my point of view a place which is better for you to live depends on many factors like your age, job, marital status and many others. Personally I prefer to live in the city because all the places I need are near and most of my friends live there.

Dear John,

How are you? Thank you for your letter. I'm very happy that you replied to me.
As you know I live in Warsaw. It's the capital of Poland and the biggest city too. About 2 million people live there. Warsaw is in the centre of the country by the river called The Vistula. My city is very lively even in the evenings. It's very pleasant to have a walk in the park and watch lit skyscrapers. The Palace of Culture and Science is also worth visiting. It shines with different colours in the evenings. If you don't like walking, you can go to a club in the city centre or you can simply go to the cinema.
However, Warsaw is a very big and multicultural city, it's rather safe to walk alone on the pavements. I really like my city. Write me something about your city.
I hope to hear from you soon,
Yours

Dear Mark,

How are you? I hope that you are fine. Thank you for your last letter. I am really looking forward to seeing you. I'm sorry but I won't be able to pick you up from the airport because I have broken my arm and i can't drive a car.
When you arrive, you should take the bus number 12 to get to my home. When you pass the roundabout, get off at the first bus stop. It will take you about 30 minutes. I will try to be at the bus stop when you arrive.
When you come , we will go on a trip to the Bieszczady mountains to hike for 2 days. Later we will go to the cinema and to the swimming pool in Łódź.
You should take a camera, waterproof jacket and good boots. I'm sure the weather will be great!
See you soon,
Yours,

Marcin Niemiec

Hi John
I’m having great time in Italy in the Alps. I’m here on my winter holidays with my family. We are staying in a luxury hotel with big swimming pool and enormous waterslides. The weather is nice: The Sun is shining and there is a lot of snow on the hills. We get up early in the morning and we go skiing. We come back in the evening tired but very happy. Here are so many things to do! Tomorrow we are leaving mountains and we are going on a trip to Rome.
I hope you aren’t missing us so much, we are coming back on Sunday.
Best wishes,
Marcin
